Hi my name is Janis and I started designing and making bears ten years ago.

Why Lavender Bears? I was once a Brown Owl and Rainbow Guilder and in Rainbows I was called Lavender, the girls used to call them Lavender’s Bears, so hence the name.  People always presumed it was because there was Lavender inside them, so now there is :-)

My bears are all designed and made in the beautiful hills of Wales and I try to make my bears symathetic to my adopted Country, I have made dragons and re-cyled welsh tapestry for bears foot pads and clothes.
